I...Oh, I'd forgotten about A Dog's Purpose. Interesting comparison. I guess from the multiple life aspect, yes, definitely. But, the writing style almost rang a bell. I kept thinking, "I've read similar writing but . . . but," and not coming up with who writes that way. I wish I could figure that out. It's a really fun and horrifying book. Some of his lives are so awful you almost wish he'd hurry up and die but others are so fascinating or unique that I found myself wishing they'd gotten full novel treatment. At any rate, it was definitely an experience that I recommend! That makes the reading super fun.
