Most Southerners are not fond of them, I've found. Yes, it was a pretty big snake - thin, but long - and I was stunned that Sunshine managed to haul it inside. She later decided the outdoors was not for her and switched to bringing me stuffed animals, which I liked a lot better. :)

I hope I'll be back to normal posting, next week. I'll definitely credit all three of you if I do the meme. Thanks for tagging me. I normally jump right on these things, but I'm having a wee bit of trouble concentrating, still. This has been a much better day.

Gentle Reader,

Thanks for understanding. I'm getting back to myself, slowly but surely. I was a little caught off-guard by the intensity of my grief. I knew it was going to be hard because Sunshine was such a little buddy - really, quite a gregarious little critter. Till recently, she always greeted me at the door.

Anyway, I'm getting there!! I'll let you know if I do this meme, next week. :)Bookfoolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08247136634069540446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29370872.post-23781109331875407902007-07-27T13:41:00.000-05:002007-07-27T13:41:00.000-05:00No problem! Thanks."

VERY funny article, and I plan to read your article in T-Zero Xpandizine. Your response to the snake, however, would NOT have been mine ... lol. Thanks!? And the snake was a 4-foot long one? No thanks! Not even if it was a harmless snake. Yes, I do recognize the difference, but I wouldn't want one crawling around inside MY place. When doing yardwork, I have been known to pick up snakes and move them from where I was working, but I wouldn't want one in the house. You write such beautiful stories ... thanks.

And in my (missing) comment, I tagged you (first) for the Blogging Tips Meme, before SciFiChick or Gentle Reader:
http://bonniesbooks.blogspot.com/2007/07/blogging-tips-meme.html

All I can figure is that I hit Preview instead of Post and then wandered away from here ... and therefore the comment was lost. Now I see, however, that you aren't up to a meme just now: "I think I'll pass on the meme, for now, if you don't mind. Hopefully, next week I'll be back up to speed."

If you feel up to it next week, please include me as one who thought any tips from you would be wonderful. I've also heard they grow back, but that I'm really not sure about!

Also, hope you don't mind but I'm tagging you with the Blogging Tips Meme. Check it out on my blog. Our precious miniature schnauzer once surprised us with a dead bird...in shreds on the beige living room carpet. ICK!Andihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05220718933942181809noreply@blogger.com
