We have some international foods in our town -- things are improving! -- and it's only a 30-mile drive to the Asian grocery but variety is certainly lacking. We bought tons of dried chiles, too, so that ought to keep us going for a while! I think there are two reasons why it carries more exotic foods: there's a small state school in the adjacent town with a spectrum of international students, and our town is about 50% Hispanic; so we get a lot of neat Asian and Latino foods.Alycehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10919057159829023714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29370872.post-62357803331165108382013-01-29T00:11:31.965-06:002013-01-29T00:11:31.965-06:00You've got to read The Tutor's Daughter, J...You've got to read The Tutor's Daughter, Jenny. Ann Arbor is a great place for people who love food. We didn't make it into Detroit often enough to get to know it.

LOL A wine dispenser?! I usually have to drive about 2 hours to get to metro Detroit to find the really cool grocery stores, but it is definitely worth the drive. One even has a wine dispenser, so you can sip a bit of wine while shopping for exotic fruit and veggies. Love it!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00823616282284779390noreply@blogger.com
