I had to close the door to stop her from being naughty for attention. <br /><br />I've only read a few lad lit books, I think - used to love chick lit and I read a few of the male version, at the time. They're fun. I usually look up pop culture references but I'd looked up so many things while I read that WWI book that I just didn't feel like it. My fault. There is a plus - you learn something new if you bother! Might have to check this one out so I can say I've read this genre. The pop culture stuff bugs me too. Mostly because it dates the book horribly.
