Monday Malarkey - Mostly in photographs
I finished Trigger Warning by Neil Gaiman, this week:
and I Crawl Through It by A. S. King (a pre-order which arrived, this week -- some books call your name immediately):
These two books books walked in my door:
Another Woman's Daughter by Fiona Sussman
Chance Harbor by Holly Robinson
Both from Berkley/NAL
I don't know what I'm reading next. We've had nothing but fair-weather clouds, lately, and often no clouds at all.
But, last night it rained. So, no Super Moon Eclipse for us. Bummeration.
I also discovered, this week, that this girl just recently turned 6:
And, that means this gal is 5:
My grandchild is also on the verge of turning 1. How time flies.

Thank you for visiting my blog! I use comment moderation because apparently my blog is a spam magnet. Don't worry. If you're not a robot, your comment will eventually show up and I will respond, with a few exceptions. If a comment smacks of advertising, contains a dubious link or is offensive, it will be deleted. I love to hear from real people! I'm a really chatty gal and I love your comments!
Time flies indeed! What did you think of Trigger Warning? It's tippy top of my Gaiman wishlist. :) Maybe it'll be the next of his works I read.
ReplyDeleteI mostly loved it. Gaiman is hit or miss, for me, and this particular short story collection is thematically diverse. There's a little of everything. So, I don't suppose it's surprising that there were a couple of stories I absolutely had to drag myself through (and one that I got partway into and skipped the rest, which I don't recall ever doing before). Most of it's fabulous, though. I liked the mix. There are plenty of nice, creepy stories and even a Dr. Who! It's a fun read.
DeleteNew books and pretty kitties. Wonderful Monday pics :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Iliana!
DeleteTiny anonymous human is going to be ONE already?! whew.
ReplyDeleteYes! Can you believe it? And, I should probably change the name to Anonymous Butterball Toddler. She's a healthy girl. She walks! She has teeth! She's also a golden blonde. I claim that part of her genetics. :)
