I still want to read The Buried Giant but after that I may just give up on Ishiguro and reread The Remains of the Day, now and then. I've never reread it. <br /><br />As to Mosquitoland, I liked it but just didn't love it and I think the main reason was the weird voice. Some people may find it quirky and endearing. I found the "smart kid" trope annoying but I did love the way the MC bonded with other people. I'm glad I read it. It just wasn't a favorite so I'll probably pass my copy on to a local high school. It was always a little weird and I hesitate to say, sterile, but his latest Klara was just so odd. I enjoyed it but it left me feeling rather depressed.
