The more the White House encourages people not to produce documents or show up for hearings, the better it looks for the case against Trump, et. al. At least, that's how I see it. But, you're right. It's all utterly depressing and exhausting. There are days that I think it's all over. Trump has taken lessons from Putin on how to build an oligarchy and he's winning. None of my Trump-loving friends have budged an inch. They're completely blind to the corruption and only read news sources that fit their belief system.
