The cats surprised me. I didn't know they'd be able to reach up far enough to hit them! Fortunately, they follow me wherever I go, so if I'm sleeping they're usually in the bedroom. Occasionally, Isabel will play with jingle balls late at night, but other than that and the early morning wake-up calls (Fiona has been a nuisance about making noise early in the morning, lately), they're pretty well behaved.Bookfoolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08247136634069540446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29370872.post-12278218775075864992012-05-31T14:35:37.292-05:002012-05-31T14:35:37.292-05:00I never thought about putting up windchimes indoor...I never thought about putting up windchimes indoors for the cats to play with. My only concern would be if they decided to play with them in the middle of the night (and my cats are ornery enough to do that).Alycehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10919057159829023714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29370872.post-41502950478306618532012-05-31T13:42:16.444-05:002012-05-31T13:42:16.444-05:00LOL I can't say I blame you for avoiding the ...LOL I can't say I blame you for avoiding the camera. I had the worst time getting graduation pictures taken when I finished university. In the end they are the only pictures of myself I really like and they are old now...Kailanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11136262232046813471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29370872.post-51400010903032689732012-05-30T21:54:47.947-05:002012-05-30T21:54:47.947-05:00Why, thank you for wahooing back at me, Jill. :)
...Why, thank you for wahooing back at me, Jill. :)

Ha! That's great! My guys have a tendency to stiffen when I take pictures of them (so I have to keep a running patter to make them laugh -- been doing that for 30 years, now - Huzzybuns is the worst) but I wasn't expecting the blink-reflex problem! I guess most of the photos I've taken of Kiddo have been outdoors. The best Goober Family Photo we have is a snap of our wedding reception line. I need to scan that, some time. It *must* be passed down through the generations.Bookfoolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08247136634069540446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29370872.post-58193302566683204792012-05-30T20:33:46.320-05:002012-05-30T20:33:46.320-05:00Wahoo back at you.

We always have someone in the picture that looks like a total goober. :-DAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29370872.post-42693941854291479522012-05-30T17:04:17.640-05:002012-05-30T17:04:17.640-05:00I don't know that I'd call it "dystop...I don't know that I'd call it "dystopian", although the world they've left is dying. It's more of a battle for survival book. Either way, the fact that it's in space makes it nicely unique and you have to appreciate that, don't you?

Thanks! I'm trying to convince my son to read this one, actually! There's a touch of romance but it's not prominent so I don't think guys will be put off by it.Bookfoolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08247136634069540446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29370872.post-22462164162592388672012-05-30T17:00:32.487-05:002012-05-30T17:00:32.487-05:00He's going to Ole Miss, Kathy. I think it'...He's going to Ole Miss, Kathy. I think it's not so much the need for it to be professionally done as for the school to avoid having to pay for a photographer. They're just asking for it to be professional grade, probably so it'll be good enough to recognize features. Obviously, Kiddo's was not done professionally. It's easy enough to take a portrait that's decent enough for an ID -- I've done passport and ID photos for Husband, as well. The hard part was sizing it to the exact dimensions they requested (I left that to the guys, although it would be nice to learn how to go about resizing).Bookfoolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08247136634069540446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29370872.post-1399524748717453172012-05-30T15:34:09.226-05:002012-05-30T15:34:09.226-05:00his seems like it would be very different than mos...his seems like it would be very different than most of the dystopians that I have read, especially because it takes place in space. I am intrigued by what you have said about this book, and I feel like it was really solidly articulated. Thanks for giving me another book to look forward to. I bet my son would love it too!Zibileehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07443338685890187334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29370872.post-62867916888850268862012-05-30T12:34:45.219-05:002012-05-30T12:34:45.219-05:00Where is Kiddo going to school that he needs a pro...Where is Kiddo going to school that he needs a professional grade photo for his ID? School ID pictures generally rank right up there with driver's license photos.bermudaonionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10726401178972099557noreply@blogger.com
