I looked up some hotels for the fun of it and they serve what we'd consider typical foods, but the traditional cuisine is also still available. I would definitely skip it. I mean, it must be so fascinating. I had the chance to visit Iceland a couple of years ago and remember the guidebooks talking about the "rotted" meat you could eat - like rotted shark. No thanks! Yikes. That's one delicacy we did not try :)Ilianahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07026669671843769219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29370872.post-53571378474832333442011-01-19T08:35:25.056-06:002011-01-19T08:35:25.056-06:00Inside a Book,

It's been a long, long time since I read that title, so I thought her name rang a bell, too, and couldn't figure out why. And, it was right there on the cover. Haha. Silly me. I've never actually seen the movie, but I was very impressed with the book.Bookfoolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08247136634069540446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29370872.post-16131350437837901692011-01-18T19:06:49.294-06:002011-01-18T19:06:49.294-06:00Ooh, this sounds so interesting! I like novels that introduce me to new places, and I can't remember ever reading a novel set in the Faroes. Also loved the last quote by Eyvinder!jenclairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06046532245054911248noreply@blogger.com
