I prefer paperback, too, mostly because soft covers (particularly trade paperback) are easier to hold and take less shelf space. It is definitely unusual -- and it makes me want to go back to The Graveyard Book and Coraline to see if they click with me a bit better upon a second reading. I may have tried to read too much into those two books.Bookfoolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08247136634069540446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29370872.post-8748712066065098812013-08-15T23:22:13.328-05:002013-08-15T23:22:13.328-05:00This was an interesting review, Bookfool. I do want to read it, I have it on order at the library, which I will get in 2015 sometime.....I have read several of his books, so it's mostly that I don't buy many hardcovers any more, and am waiting for it in softcover. I enjoyed The Graveyard Book so very much. This one The Ocean At the End of the Lane sounds interesting - not your usual fantasy, that's for sure. I'm curious how I will like it. Darn, I don't want to wait another year for it to come out in softcover!Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09095246748581382752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29370872.post-52732468202603611962013-08-13T16:43:31.274-05:002013-08-13T16:43:31.274-05:00You're going to have a long list if you wait t...You're going to have a long list if you wait too long. LOL Stardust and The Ocean at the End of the Lane are my all-time favorites. I still need to read Neverwhere (and there are a few that actually don't interest me, but I'm sure there are plenty of other titles I need to get around to reading).Bookfoolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08247136634069540446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29370872.post-51173693861481682792013-08-13T16:28:01.686-05:002013-08-13T16:28:01.686-05:00I want to read this soon since I have never had a ...I want to read this soon since I have never had a chance to read any of his books between this Coraline, Startdust and the Grave book, I will keep adding to my list. lol<br />KristaLover of Bookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07983601043223228372noreply@blogger.com
