I like the title of your post, but I'm sad to hear you'll be down to one bookstore again:( I recently discovered there's a outlet Borders at one of my local malls...dangerous I tell ya:)
A Borders outlet? Cool!!! Yeah, it's sad to lose this store. We had another outlet bookstore, years back, and it also went out of business. Maybe we'll eventually get another. Fingers and toes crossed! They are definitely dangerous, those book outlets!!
Looks like you got a great stack of "toys" to keep you occupied for a while. I've read Masie Dobbs, but not any of the sequels. Read The Yokota Officers Club a few years ago (met the author at a signing at Borders in Ft. Worth) and enjoyed it. Tried to read Extremely Loud... but couldn't get interested. Could've been my mood.
You're one up on me, Lesley; I haven't read Maisie Dobbs. Birds of a Feather just sounded good. Hopefully, it will be fine as a stand-alone, in spite of being in a series. I've never had much trouble reading out of order, though.
I've read The Boyfriend School by Sarah Bird and enjoyed it, so Yokota's been on my mental wish list for a while. We'll see about Extremely Loud, etc. If nothing else, my eldest wants to read it and I can always foist it on him if I hate it. LOL
Thank you for visiting my blog! I use comment moderation because apparently my blog is a spam magnet. Don't worry. If you're not a robot, your comment will eventually show up and I will respond, with a few exceptions. If a comment smacks of advertising, contains a dubious link or is offensive, it will be deleted. I love to hear from real people! I'm a really chatty gal and I love your comments!
