Wahoo! Wednesday
Honestly, it's hard just to take the time to walk inside to do this because . . .
WAHOO!!!! It's 65 degrees outside!!!! I sat in the sun, reading, for an hour. The cat moseyed around, playing in the bushes and occasionally winding herself around the chair legs, beneath my feet. She rolled on the sidewalk and sniffed the grass. She slept in the shadow of one of the cars. We were feeling very full of wahoo. I have to go back outside. But, when I come in I'll start working on these two reviews:
Creepers by Joanne Dahme
Homeland Insecurity by Turchie & Puckett
Have a wahooey day!!

It's been cold up here in South Carolina. The dog has wanted to snuggle on my lap all day.
ReplyDeleteBermudaonion,
ReplyDeleteI think this has been our coldest day, so far, but the cat has been really greedy about climbing all over me to find a warm spot the whole week. She's getting older and her little paws are soooo cold. She loved spending some time in the sun. We're happy campers. :)
I agree! Wahoo for autumn! :)
ReplyDeleteSuey,
ReplyDeleteIsn't it the greatest? I am all aglow.
Hmmm--wahooing because it's warmer than it has been or cooler? We went camping this past weekend and roasted! It was great during the evening, but our daytime highs are still pretty warm. But, I know Debi is already getting snow--crazy. I'm not ready for cold weather. :(
ReplyDeleteBut anyway--sounds like a perfectly lovely afternoon!!
It may be somewhat sunny here but it's really getting cooler for Mississippi weather!
ReplyDelete65? is cold.
ReplyDeleteThat picture/caption is fab!
Trish,
ReplyDeleteWahooing because it's perfect outside -- you can actually sit in the sun without pain or drenching sweat. I love that. It's cool and breezy enough to keep the mosquitoes away. We have so many months of Hot and Humid. It's exciting when cool air shows up -- especially when it's combined with sunshine, so you can sit and read in the sun.
Ladytink,
I know!! Isn't it wonderful? I was sooo happy to be able to just sit in the sun -- no worry about getting sick from the heat. Love it, love it.
Carrie,
Yes. We're freezing. That's why I pulled my chair out onto the grass instead of sitting on the shady porch. LOL
Thank you. I cheezburgered one of my photos. Usually, I forget that's an option for getting a nice, big caption onto a photo.
We are enjoying the cooler weather in Louisiana, too. A little crisp, cool, fall weather does a lot for our attitudes around here!
ReplyDeleteJenclair,
ReplyDeleteSo true. It's uplifting to feel like you can move without the extra weight of that heat and humidity, isn't it?
Wahoo is right! The weather is gorgeous here, too. My bike ride this afternoon was blissful, and I napped in the sunroom today. hehe
ReplyDeleteAndi,
ReplyDeleteI wish I could ride a bike!! The dogs would eat me, but the cat and I played outdoors, again. We're loving this weather. Kitty tippytoed around, chased a lizard (I watched his little sides heave, through my nice long lens) and then crashed in the grass. Too fun.
I'm two days behind, but it's been lovely here, too. We had a few cold days, but yesterday was fabulous. Hit 78, which sounds hot, but it was gorgeous. Took the chill out of my bones!
ReplyDeleteLes,
ReplyDeleteIt got up to 68, yesterday. Perfect, perfect. The cat and I went outside to play with my new lens. I know what you mean. Sometimes one hot day stuck in the middle of all those cold ones is just the ticket. Just as long as it doesn't stick around. LOL
