Happy, happy Wednesday!
Bookfool, enjoying that nice fall air
Gorgeous pictures. Do you still have tomatoes on your plants?
ReplyDeleteBermudaonion,
ReplyDeleteYes! We have six tomatoes -- a whole new fall crop. Wahoo!
Such pretty pictures! Just look at those leaves.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Iliana! It's really quite lovely outside, right now. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely lovely LOVELY
ReplyDeleteThank you, Care. We're so excited to have fall color (even if it is in the upper 70s). :)
ReplyDeleteI thought I heard a Wahoo somewhere... ;)
ReplyDeleteLes,
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to go to Nebraska with my roll of duct tape if you don't stop that! Shhhhh!!
Wow! I love your pictures. :)
ReplyDeleteThe weather is lovely here.
Thank you, Brittanie! Isn't it awesome? I love this time of year!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous beautiful amazinG! the 1st one is like awesome!
ReplyDeletesooper dooper cool :)
Thank you, Veens! I took that first pic in my backyard about an hour before I posted. It's beautiful in Mississippi, right now! :)
ReplyDeleteMhmhm lppppssss rrrrrr slllllld. ;)
ReplyDeleteHahaha.
ReplyDeleteYou're so funny, Les! Tk yu.
;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, as always! Although I'm feeling under the weather (stupid, stupid, sinus infection!), I'm still on that post-election day high!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday to you!!
Tomatoes?! I didn't know they grew well down here during this time of the year! I may just have to plant some after my last failure in the spring and summer. Lovely pictures! We still don't have too many fall colors down here :(
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteStephanie,
ReplyDeleteThanks. I hope you knock that sinus infection back quickly. Those suckers are miserable. I feel for you.
Chris,
Those tomatoes are growing on our summer tomato plants (which didn't do too well, this year, because we neglected them). I've heard people talking about a second crop in fall, but we've never done a second planting or had any survive this long. You should give it a try. It's warm enough, right?
Vicksburg is really pretty, right now. I think because we've had a pretty cold fall we've got color. Are you still green?
Callista,
Thank you!
Bookfool, thanks for the WAHOO! Your pictures are all so wonderful. Sure do a number in raising my spirits and increasing my appreciation of nature, as well as your fabulous skills as a photographer. I need lessons!
ReplyDeleteLove the last two photos. So pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing fall photos Bookfool! Thanks for sharing them! I also LOVE your new header.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Teddy Rose, on all counts!
ReplyDeleteYeah, we still have green here :( It's quite sad...the leaves tend to go from green to crunchy brown on the lawn around here...they're starting to go crunchy brown :/
ReplyDeleteHow lovely--we are finally getting some fall color here but still nothing like we saw up in the Northeast. Never checked out Estella's Revenge...I'll have to do that!
ReplyDeleteChris,
ReplyDeleteThat's what usually happens here. I think it's something to do with a sudden cold snap that makes the leaves more colorful because we only have pretty years when it becomes cold a little more suddenly and earlier in the year. The live oaks always go brown, though. They're just not pretty.
Trish,
So envious. Someday, I've got to see the fall color on the East Coast. I've always wanted to do that.
Mmm, tomatoes! You must live in the South to have such warm autumn weather.
ReplyDeleteDewey,
ReplyDeleteYep, we're near the bottom of the map, here -- about a 100 miles from the Gulf Coast. It's in the 60s, today, and I've got on my jacket, my toes are like ice cubes. The tomatoes are beautiful -- can't wait to harvest them. I love this time of year!!
Oh, and I forgot to tell you...I tagged you yesterday :p
ReplyDeleteHi Chris,
ReplyDeleteTagged again, eh? Okay, I'll come check it out. Love your new pic. :)
It's in the 60s, today, and I've got on my jacket, my toes are like ice cubes.
ReplyDeleteIs that a whine? Wanna know what our weather's doing? It's 37 and snowing!!!!!! I'm not ready for winter!!! Wahhhhhh!
Oh, no no no. Not a whine! We sweat through 7 hot months and I'm always thrilled to pieces when I get to put on a jacket and socks. I am absolutely loving our weather! I would love snow, if we got it. My happiest year was the one spent in Michigan. I'm not good with heat.
ReplyDeleteOh I love the light shining on the leaves! And the colours in the first one are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you've been enjoying some autumn weather, well minus the rain anyway. Looks like we might get out to take some autumn leaves shots next weekend. Fingers crossed.
Nat,
ReplyDeleteThat first tree has just about been stripped by wind and rain, but now we're enjoying the color on the ground . . . till we have to rake it up, of course. LOL Thank you! I hope you have some nice cool weather and pretty colors to shoot, next week!
