That's her beauty mark! It was very small when she was a kitten and darkened with age. She also has some little "freckles", tiny areas of coloration. You can see one on her left leg in that last picture.
Kathy,
I think she was really thinking, "Could you please leave me alone? I was having fun till you started blinding me!" She was hilarious, last night. Just before she climbed into that little bin, she had a little cat fit and attacked the carpet and the wall. She keeps us laughing -- both cats do. We have a lot of fun around here. :)
Just pop that little lid on and pack her away! I love this photo, and my cats love to do the same thing with any container that is big enough for them to squeeze into.
Cats are so funny. Howie went through a stage where he could not resist laundry baskets. He'd wait patiently while I folded the clothes and the instant the last item left the basket he's jump in and quickly lay down.
The lid was safely on the other side of the room while we were doing some mad purging, but I wouldn't put it past her to figure that out! :)
LOL I love it that you've become so enamored of cats!!! I am just crazy about mine, of course. They are such wonderful companions. If Izzy isn't nearby, you can bet Fiona will be and often both of them hang out with me.
Kinda weird, yes. Maybe you need to get your eyes checked? LOL There are some strange little reflections going on in that little plastic container, though, for sure!!
They are until they wake you up at 4am by knocking things off the bedside table. Then they're "hellions". They're cool the rest of the time, though. ;)

I love the progression from sitting to curled up. Maybe she's planning on staying put away till the holidays. ;)
ReplyDeleteJenny,
ReplyDeleteLOL In that case, she will need a little ribbon and bow for decoration. Come to think of it, that would be really cute!
Izzy is actually trying to scratch her way through the window to get to a lizard, at this moment. She is tremendously entertaining. :)
Ok, does Miss Izzy have a little something (coffee maybe?) on her snout or is that a beauty mark? I've never noticed before!
ReplyDeleteShe's so cute. It looks like she's asking you to please let her stay in her box.
ReplyDeleteTrish,

ReplyDeleteZibilee,
ReplyDeleteThat's definitely one of the fun things about cats, the way they have to try out every box, basket and container.

ReplyDeleteSuziQ,
ReplyDeleteI'll bet that was loads of fun! Howie is awesome. :)
Thank goodness she couldn't find the lid! :)
ReplyDeleteShe looks like our Samantha, who curls up in the bathtub in a similar way while I put on my make-up in the morning. Love kitties. Love them.
Bellezza,

Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kelly!
ReplyDelete:) Edgar has been such a problem child lately that I wish he'd put himself in storage!
ReplyDeleteJenclair,
ReplyDeleteWe have days like that. :)
LOL - is it weird that my first thought was that she looks like abstract art? Especially in that last one!
ReplyDeleteMegan,

She looks very pleased with herself. :)
ReplyDeleteAlyce,
ReplyDeleteI do believe she was. :)
Cats are cool.
