Yeah, they do tend to freak out and hide. It's going to be quite a while before we actually move into the house because we need to paint, first, and in the middle of moving we'll have to stop to move Kiddo up to Oxford. Then, after we're all moved we'll be working on getting our current house ready to sell. Ye gads, what a lot of stuff we'll have to get done, these next few months!!!
Oh, well, no problem then. :) Actually, I think they'll be crazy about the house if we manage to enclose the covered patio. It would make a marvelous kitty play area.
Thank you for visiting my blog! I use comment moderation because apparently my blog is a spam magnet. Don't worry. If you're not a robot, your comment will eventually show up and I will respond, with a few exceptions. If a comment smacks of advertising, contains a dubious link or is offensive, it will be deleted. I love to hear from real people! I'm a really chatty gal and I love your comments!
I wonder what they'll think of the new place.
ReplyDeleteI hope they'll love it, of course! It'll probably take them time to adjust, though. Cats tend to dislike a change of scenery.
DeleteYeah, my cat hid under the covers on my bed for like a week after I moved. I hope these guys do better.

DeleteThey look like they're ready to move. Of course, looks can be deceiving. :-p
ReplyDeleteI don't think they're quite ready, but that might be at least partly because we haven't yet finished buying the house. ;)
DeleteIt will take them a while...but as long as they get lots of love they will adjust!
