Things I forgot to remember and a few days off
Yes, folks, it's true. I've been married so long that I forgot my anniversary was this week. With that and the fact that Kiddo is about to head home this weekend in mind, I've decided to take a few days off. When I return, there will be dinosaur books to talk about! I planned to post about the dinosaur books last weekend, then this week, then Tuesday was busy and . . . oh, yeah, Wednesday a tour post was due (at least I didn't forget that for long -- calendars are very helpful things). I've warned husband that after I've taken a day or two or three off, I'm going to have to dive in and tackle some of those reviews. He shrugged. That was the correct response, in case you're wondering.
This will not be a lengthy break, just a few days off to be present with family. Back soon!

Thank you for visiting my blog! I use comment moderation because apparently my blog is a spam magnet. Don't worry. If you're not a robot, your comment will eventually show up and I will respond, with a few exceptions. If a comment smacks of advertising, contains a dubious link or is offensive, it will be deleted. I love to hear from real people! I'm a really chatty gal and I love your comments!
Enjoy the family time and (probably also belated) Happy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kathrin!
DeleteHappy anniversary! And I'm excited about dinosaur books. If they're kid-centric, they will go on G's Christmas list.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Andiloo! I think some of the dinosaur books are below G's level but one is above (the better to read 1,000 extra times before he reads it on his own, right?) and I should have another coming -- possible a giveaway, as well. Lots of dinosaurs coming up! :)
DeleteHappy Anniversary! Those things do tend to sneak up on us, and while my parents are celebrating their 59th as I write, with a small trip, my husband and I typically have an extravagant dinner at the restaurant which held our reception. So glad your son is coming home for awhile, blessings on you all.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bellezza! Well, they sneak up and I'm becoming more forgetful. We used to do *absolutely nothing* to celebrate (maybe a card, at best) but in recent years husband has suddenly become The One Who Does Something Special. He made reservations at a nice restaurant and it was a great meal, good service, terrific day. Kiddo has been here for almost 2 weeks. I love having him around. I think he's pretty sick of us, though. Time to go back! :)
