Fiona Friday on the Wrong Day - Cat crazies collage
Izzy had a little episode of the cat crazies on Thursday. At left is a relatively calm moment and at right . . . I may have gotten a little too close. She did manage to catch the camera, a time or two. No humans were injured in the capturing of these photographs, thank goodness. Wild as she was, she's pretty careful with her claws around me. Gotta appreciate that.

My kitties are a little scared to claw me. That doesn't stop them from swatting at me if I get too annoying for them.
ReplyDeleteI don't think mine are afraid of clawing me so much as just sweet little creatures who don't use their claws unless they're terrified (or crazed - but crazed is usually like you see in these photos -- the kitty tree gets it). They really are surprisingly non-defensive. I can reach right over and pet them on the head without getting swatted unless one is in a mood and then they'll just rear back a bit.
DeleteI think that made it sound like I get swatted. I don't. I've been tapped, no claws, but they don't bat at me. Isabel will swat Kiddo, though. She's terrified of him.
