Wahoo! Wednesday
Today is Wahoo For Pink!, day. No words, just some favorite pink pics. I'm actually not a big fan of pink, but it's been jumping out at me, lately. Bermudaonion suggested that I've probably noticed my pink photos because it's Breast Cancer Awareness month. Makes sense to me, and it's certainly a great reason to feature pink.

Well, this is the "pink" month - Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
ReplyDeleteI thought about that, B. Not exactly subliminal, but maybe that's why the pink photos have been grabbing me and begging for a wahoo post of their own. You never know. :)
ReplyDeleteLike Bermuda I also immediately thought of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Not a big fan of pink??? For shame! I love pink, but not as much as I love red.
ReplyDeleteTrish,
ReplyDeleteIt seems like a good reason to feature pink, doesn't it?
I'm not a pink fan, but I love red. I'm into strong color.
I'm not a big fan of the pink either, but I LOVE these photos! Very beautimous!
ReplyDeleteNot too big on pink either but these are great photos!
ReplyDeleteI actually like all your pics! esp the one of the fireworks
ReplyDeleteand the cat looks so cute :))
it is a pink month! :)
I love your pictures with a theme- especially pink.
ReplyDeleteI love the feathers and the fireworks.
ReplyDeleteI'm much more of a red girl than a pink one, too. But I think absolutely any color can be pretty in the right situation.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, every single one of the shots is fabulous. But there's something about that cat that put the biggest smile on my face! You, my dear, are a true artist!
Oh, such pink perfection!
ReplyDeleteI posted a pink photo today too on my photo blog. Coincidence? Breast cancer awareness is a good reason to think pink! :)
ReplyDeleteLOLOL! Love the cat!
ReplyDeleteI love pink - I know, I'm such a girl :)
ReplyDeleteI really like the one with the cat.
Those are lovely! Especially the feathers and the cat. I'm actually not a big fan of pink either, but this is for an excellent cause, and plus the pictures all look great, pinkness aside :P
ReplyDeleteSuch great choices. I love them all but especially the cat.
ReplyDeleteAndiloo,
ReplyDeleteThank you! Not surprised you're not a pink lover. ;)
Ladytink,
Thank you!!
Veens,
Thanks! I'm surprised how many people like that cat! That's one of my childhood works of art. I took his picture and then threw him away (he was disintegrating).
Yep, it's a pink month, all right!
Chris,
I'd never thought to come up with a theme till last week's cat post -- it's pretty fun (but a little dizzying) searching through the files, so I guess I'll keep doing it for a while. Thanks!
Nikki,
Thank you! I'm particularly fond of those feathers, myself.
Debi,
ReplyDeleteDefinitely. You don't have to be a pink lover to appreciate the color in nature.
Thank you! I'm kind of stunned that so many people like that cat! I think that's from 3rd grade art. No wonder he was falling to pieces! It's been (ahem) a while since I was in 3rd grade.
Jenclair,
Thank you!
Nat,
I noticed your pink rose (I've got you added to my blog watch). It's gorgeous! Yep, excellent reason to think pink. :)
J. Kaye,
Thank you. Makes you want to break out the glue, yarn, scissors and paper, doesn't it? ;)
Iliana,
It's okay to be a girly girl. I used to be all ruffles and lace, in my younger days.
Thanks!
Nymeth,
I love those feathers, too. Flamingoes are so pretty. Thanks, yep, it's a great time to think pink.
Susan,
Thanks! Doesn't that cat look like a fun craft project?
They're all so cool but I love the fireworks and the feathers!
ReplyDeletecjh
CJ,
ReplyDeleteThanks, doll. I'm rather partial to those feathers, myself. :)
I love the backlighting on the first picture (a hibiscus?). Very purty pics.
ReplyDeleteLes,
ReplyDeleteThank you. :) Yep, I think it's a hibiscus. I've got another photo from that particular plant coming up on the animus3 blog, soon. The official photographer was snapping the kids' photos, so I roamed outside the pool and found something fun to photograph.
I'm not a big fan of pink either, but your photos sure are beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Wendy!
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting finding out how many women are not too into pink. :)
I'm a big fan of pink.
