  2. Cindy,

I don't miss trick-or-treating, myself (my mother chose my outfits and they were horrendous) but I love seeing the little ones, in particular. Luigi was one of my favorites, too. :)

  3. Oh, what fun! We just love seeing the little ones on Halloween. We had one come to our door and try to give us some candy. Another little boy asked Carl if he was watching "the football game." They are so funny and cute!

  4. Kathy,

The tiny tykes are my favorites. Most of them are afraid to speak, which is so funny. Their parents tell them to say "trick or treat" and then "thank you" and they just look dumbfounded. LOL We had one father with a little one in a stroller (lots of strollers, last night!) and little one was totally conked out but the daddy didn't realize it. He said, "This is his first year!" Then, he was telling this zonked little guy to say something and I said, "Looks like he's sound asleep." His dad looked down and laughed and I said, "Maybe next year." It was so adorable. The daddy was really sweet.

  5. Very cute!! Our granddaughter wound up missing the big night thanks to having H1N1. :( My nieces were pretty cute. They were both dressed as cheetahs.

  8. Aw what cuties! We didn't get any trick or treaters but we live in an apartment so I'm assuming that's why. Love seeing the kids in their costumes. Hope you still had some candy left over for you :)

  9. Carrie,

You don't get trick or treaters? I think half of Vicksburg came to our door. Okay, not half, but we had so many there was actually a bit of a traffic jam. Fortunately, our neighborhood is nicely patrolled on Halloween. The kids were adorable and there was a lot more variety, this year. You can come to my house, next year. You'll be amazed.

    Iliana,

We didn't get any when we lived in an apartment, either. I guess apartments aren't the place to go. Our neighborhood is sort of smack in the middle of a rural area where a lot of people live on twisty back roads, so they can't trick or treat in their own area and they come to our subdivision, instead. When the weather is nice (and it was absolutely perfect), we get masses of kids. I'm guessing we had 350-400, this year. Nope, no leftovers. But, we've still got plenty of that chocolate the huz brought back from Germany, so I'm happy. :)
