Wahoo! Wednesday - Sketchy family edition

None of them like having their photos slapped up on the internet, but these people (including the fur person at the bottom) are my wahoos. Even the guy who went to Australia without me. I love 'em. Photos were altered using a sketch feature available at PhotoFunia. Wahoo! for family!!

  1. The sketch feature is fun! I bet Fiona doesn't mind having her photo on your blog.

  2. Kathy,

Isn't that cool? I've wasted a lot of time playing with that program, but I like the results so much that I've actually printed out and framed one photo and I plan to do more (just need frames to put them in).

Fiona doesn't seem to mind. I've told her Fiona Friday is my most popular blog feature. She just looks at me and yawns.

  4. Brittanie,

Isn't it great? I could play all day with that program. But, I'm going to read, instead. :)

  9. Nan,

Thanks! I love the free photo editing websites. They are way too fun!!

    Serena,

That's one of my favorite Fiona pics because I thought it looked like she was waving down at me. Fiona Friday doesn't interest her. She just wants me to get that camera out of her face, most days. LOL

  10. Oh I so love this! I might have to play around on the website when I get some free time. It looks like they have all sorts of fun things there--is that where you made the cartoons of Fiona last week?

  11. Trish,

Isn't it cool? I'm particularly fond of that sketch program. I think I'm going to send the photos I've turned to sketches and have them printed on photo paper, then frame them, I like them so much.

I used phixr.com to make the cartoony pics of Fiona. There are some excellent free photo editing sites available and each has different features. I've had way too much fun playing with them, this week. :)

  13. Thanks, Les! Careful, it's easy to get hooked on that program. I was "sketching" like crazy, the other day. Today, I'm going to read and clean. Should have a huz back home, tomorrow. Wahoo!

  15. Holly,

Isn't it great! Thanks. I'm about to break my promise to myself and go do one more of those sketches. There's a picture I want to see if I can improve by changing it to a sketch. Sometimes a really crappy photo can end up looking great with this program if you just add some contrast to the photo, first. :)

  17. Iliana,

Now, I just need to print a bunch of them out and have you bind them like one of those gorgeous journals you make!

  19. Joy,

Isn't that a cool feature? I need to do some more sketching, myself. Have fun!
