In case you're wondering, my reading slump is ongoing and, no, I don't mean for Bookfoolery to turn into a cat blog. But, since I can't get myself to write a review or even crack open a book for long, you get cat photos. At least some of you really, really like cats! This one loves her ear-rubbings:
To save myself from going stark raving mad, I'll return when I've finished reading a book and am ready to get back to writing. Till then, happy wishes to all!

Our dog loves that same kind of ear rubbing.
ReplyDeleteBut its a known fact that all cats are unbearable cute. Isn't it? I know mine are.
ReplyDeleteHope you find a book to break out of your reading funk.
Oooo! Look at Isobel's black paw pads!
ReplyDeleteI totally don't mind seeing all the kitty shots, but hope that you break out of your funk soon. I would suggest A Discovery of Witches, if you haven't read it already and can get a hold of a copy. It was a book that broke a reading slump for me, and I couldn't put it down. Good luck on getting back into the swing of things!
ReplyDeleteI went through one of those a couple years ago...mostly because I disliked every book I chose. So I let someone else pick.
ReplyDeleteBTW... I'm pretty sure you've stolen my kittens! I have littermates that look so much like that :D
Ok, so take a look at my latest blog post. :) I think you'll find it interesting. (and maybe recognize a couple things)
ReplyDeleteI hope you get over your reading slump soon! Great pictures, though. :)
ReplyDeleteIf you do turn into a cat blogger (um, not really a cat.blogger, but one who blogs about cats) I'd be OK with that. Ha! ;) I can't even remember the last time I finished a book. Hope you find something that grabs you soon!
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the kitty pix! Blog when you can. You have a busy time ahead of you, so I totally get your slump. I'm hoping to get back to a normal routine of blogging now that I have some time carved out to blog-hop.
ReplyDeleteHi all!
ReplyDeleteSorry to do a mass reply. I've finally finished a couple books, but I still don't feel like blogging. I may write a post in a bit saying I'm considering going to weekly blogging temporarily (just an update post, each week, in other words) till I get over my blogging slump. Thanks for the encouragement!
Laura, your kitties are adorable, of course!! Thanks for sharing that and for the award. Since I'm not really in the mood to blog, I probably won't pass on the award, but I so appreciate you thinking of me!
Hey I'm OK with cat pictures :) I am sorry to hear that you've been in a bit of a slump, though I think it's just part of summer perhaps!
ReplyDeleteAmy,
ReplyDeleteI think summer has a lot to do with this slump. The heat is wearing us all to a frazzle.
I see nothing wrong with a weekly post! That's what I was doing for several months, as you may recall. :) Remember, in blogging there are no rules.
