Yesterday, Izzy was fascinated with what happened outdoors. So were the rest of us.
Snow! It had completely melted, not long after noon, but we got 2"! Excitement!

We got nothing bur rain.
ReplyDeleteAw, sorry. Ours lasted all of 12 hours - from about midnight, when the first little bit fell, till just after noon. It was thrilling. Even flurries are enough to hold me for a year or two.
DeleteBeautiful. It snows so much here my cat could care less. She loves thunder and lightning, though.
ReplyDeleteYou can imagine how often we get snow in Mississippi, Jenny. A good snow that sticks -- about every 7-8 years, on average. We're happy if we just get to see flurries. Our 2" was a joy, even if it only lasted a handful of hours.
DeleteShe loves thunder and lightning? Wow! That's unusual!
Two inches of snow! Wow! I probably would be right there at the window watching the snow fall, too.. That is, if it ever snowed here! :)

It doesn't snow often, here. We really get a kick out of it when it does. Since we grew up with plenty of snow in the winter as kids, we miss it.
DeleteAww...I wouldn't mind some snow...on the weekend anyway so I don't have to commute to work in it!
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't a problem on the roads, thank goodness. Hubby's workplace didn't open till 10:00, but he left at 7:30. Can we say "workaholic"? I think he was one of 2 people on the road. LOL
DeleteI wish I could see snow! We haven't had any in two years, well any to speak of, and I'm feeling ripped off! ;)
ReplyDeleteI've heard that, Bellezza! Shocking! You'd think Chicago would be buried, by now. The weather has gone completely upside-down.
DeleteWow! 2 inches?! That's a decent amount for us, so you must've been thrilled! I can't believe Bellezza hasn't had any in two years. We're supposed to get flurries today (it was 54 degrees here yesterday... go figure!), so maybe she'll get something as the storm moves east.
ReplyDeleteWe were absolutely thrilled, yep. It doesn't even matter that it was all nearly gone by noon. It's just getting to see the snow fall. That's enough for me, anyway. :) I hope you got your flurries and Bellezza gets some snow, as well!
DeleteBeautiful pictures!!! We had a chance of snow flurries here on the north shore of the lake where I'm living now between two and four am and dammit if I didn't stay up til four am and we got absolutely nothing :p I was looking at the radar though and noticed that you were getting snow!!! Neat that I was thinking of you as you were taking these photos :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Chris! Ah, so sorry you missed out. I didn't pay much attention to the news but I actually did wonder if you got anything. So cool that you were thinking of me, too! I always wonder if you're getting snow when we are. I guess because the two of us get so little of it and love it so much, we just happen to think of each other! :)
DeleteWe're supposed to get snow tonight! Of course, snow in Massachusetts shouldn't be that big of a deal...
ReplyDeleteYeah, you ought to be used to it. LOL It's obviously a big, big deal, down here. Hope you enjoy your snow!
