Mean. Just plain mean. Especially to those of us of a "certain age". Wasn't sure if it was my glasses or the picture. LOL
ReplyDeleteLOL Yeah, it's not your eyes! I had just finished loading those bookshelves -- ugly old shelves we were using in the garage, but which served the purpose of helping us get books off the floor and dining table. Then, I sat down and took a picture of my socks instead of the books. Some of those books are going to be thinned out, hence the use of the shelves as background color. Kills you, doesn't it?
DeleteI love it!
ReplyDeletePure torture!
ReplyDeleteI know. I'll have to make it up to you guys, some time soon. :)
DeleteLol! How dare you do that on purpose! ;) I'm always squinting at pictures with books in the background trying to see what they are.
ReplyDeleteI know, me too! Miserable, isn't it? As I said to Wendy, above, I'll have to make it up to you by taking pictures of a shelf or two, some time soon. Those shelves contain a weird mix -- books that were stored for so long I probably ought to get rid of a lot of them, ARCs I haven't yet gotten around to reading, books friends recently sent. All were piled either on the floor or the dining room table. It is so nice to have them off the floor but I'll definitely be doing some serious weeding of the older titles.
DeleteEven blurry, I can still get a gist of what some of those books are, so there :)
ReplyDeleteThat's 'cause you're a professional. ;)
DeleteThe horror!
ReplyDeleteI know, aren't I awful? I'll make up for it by posting a photo of at least one of the shelves, next week. :)
