Ray Blackston of Greenville, South Carolina, worked as a buyer and a broker for eleven years before cashing in his modest 401k and leaving his corporate cubicle to write full time. He serves on the missions committee of his church, has traveled to rural Ecuador on a summer missions program, and coaches his seven-year-old nephew, Action Jackson, in T-Ball.

This is starting to sound so old, but . . . I'm not done with this book, yet. Sigh. I read Blackston's first two books, though, and I like his writing. I'm simply not far into the book because I still can't seem to talk myself into reading. What little I've read has been typical Blackston -- a tiny bit forced but good characters and interesting scenes. When I catch up (feel free to pray for my soupy brain to solidify and resume functioning) I shall post a link back to the preview chapter.
