As you can see, there's another kitty bed in the background. Sharing isn't necessary. It's just that Isabel craves closeness. I truly believe an abandoned kitty never forgets what it was like to be alone and hungry. That's why they make such amazing companions.

Fi looks like she can barely keep her eyes open.
ReplyDeleteShe was probably afraid she was about to get zapped by my flash. She's been through this a time or two. :)
ReplyDeleteThat first picture is especially cute. Cats really do sleep in the most odd positions.
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet that Fiona's such a patient kitty!
ReplyDeleteOh, and my cat Tiger (who looks like Fiona) runs away when he sees me with the camera. He hates the flash!
Christy,
ReplyDeleteIsn't that first one crazy? Isabel is so, so needy that she's willing to go through all sorts of contortions for a little closeness, sometimes. Cats are definitely funny sleepers!
Alyce,
Fiona doesn't like cameras, either. My little point and shoot throws out an infrared beam that is pretty miserable. I've only been the subject once or twice, but I didn't care for it and I can't say I blame her. Sometimes she just doesn't feel like moving, though!! LOL
Oh...your kitties are so cute!! Almost makes me wish I was a cat person! How have you been, friend?
ReplyDeleteStephanie!!!! It's so nice to see you! I'm fine, how are you? Thank you. My cats are a hoot. They keep us laughing. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are SO CUTE!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteCoffee and Book Chick,
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Very cute!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kelly!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe what sweet companions these two girls have made--especially with Fiona's cattiness in the beginning.
ReplyDeleteTrish,
ReplyDeleteI know! I was really worried, at first, but I always thought Fiona's personality was so easy-going that if any cat would tolerate a strange kitten being brought into the house, it was her. And, sure enough. She sometimes bristles at Isabel's neediness (Izzy will rub against her while Fi is sitting on the floor and give her a face full of tail) but they're really very sweet together, most of the time. We're very fortunate.
