  1. That's cool. I'm doing one. Wonder how accurate it is.

  3. Kookiejar,

Hard to say. I think a lot of people stumble across my blog while doing key word searches and promptly leave, but when I put the map up it did note my own location fairly accurately (it's an awfully small map!).

    Heather,

Silly girl! I really don't think most of the people who end up at my blog mean to, but it's kind of fun seeing the origin of those who blunder in. LOL You can call me Ms. Popular, though. I kinda like it. ;)

  4. That is cool, Nancy! I'll have to give it a try too.

  5. ooh, that's me, down in Melbourne, Australia!
Loved your post on Coffee, tea or me? I'm sure my mum has this at her house somewhere...

  6. Hey, you can add Japan now! :)

  7. Wendy,

Isn't it cool? I've been having such fun watching where the little dots pop up. :)

    Lazy Cow,

I see you, way over there on the other side of the world!! You should sneak your mother's copy of Coffee, Tea or Me? It's a fun read. :)

    Hey Nat!

I've been watching for a dot on Japan - couldn't remember your time zone. We're GMT-6; you once told me your time relative to Greenwich, but I've forgotten. Those dots on the other side of the world look extra cool! :)

  8. That is very cool. I wish I could add it to mine but I do not download a lot of software onto my laptop. Oh, well. :)

  9. Krista,

I had that problem, till recently. It's a pain. The good news is that when you're ready to upgrade, it's nowhere near as expensive as it used to be. I think we paid $1400 for our first PC and we used to buy older models with less memory to save money on computer purchases. Last time, we paid $400. Huge difference!

  10. Hey Nancy,
Japan is GMT +9! Are you -5 or 6 now with the early Daylight Savings? Japan doesn't change which makes things easy.

I see there were no purple dots in the continent of Africa. So let me be the first :)

  12. Hey Nat,

I forgot about daylight savings. Shouldn't have, because it's completely screwed us up, but I guess it would make us -5, but I'm not certain. We usually travel to England in the fall, and it's always been a six-hour difference but I can't ever remember when the clocks change. I always end up going somewhere too early or too late, finding out time has changed on me the hard way!!! Yes, I'm an airhead and I admit it!!

    Gavin,

Oh, wow, that looks totally cool! I've noticed the map only shows the visitors for the last 24 hours and then some of the dots fall away (note that all my Australian dots are currently gone). You must come back, often!!! :)

I'll definitely be back. I've also added you to my links section so I won't forget :)

Also, thanks for the map-loco idea. I've put it as a side-bar widget, so it will always be there.

  15. Gavin,

Thanks for adding me to your links. I'll add you to mine, as well. Cool idea putting the map in the sidebar! I might have to do that, too. I've got a lot of updating to do. I can never seem to catch up with myself and it's doubly hard when the weather is nice. I spent most of my afternoon outside, taking photos of nutty things like . . . weeds (dandelions and clover, in particular)!

Nothing wrong with that at all. I've enjoy looking at your nature photography.

((Waving back!!)) Nova Scotia's on my huge wish list of places I want to visit! :)
