Sheep Vid Hubby Took in Norway
I haven't been able to ask the husband whether the sheep were baaaa-ing or one of his friends was trying to lure the sheep by making a baaaa sound, but here you go. At the very least, the little lambs are adorable.

My guess is that one of the friends is baaaa-ing. Cute little lambs. I would love to visit Norway.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought, but my husband promptly left town so I haven't asked. I watched it several times and it looks like the sheep aren't talking, but aren't they adorable? Yeah, I'd love to go to Norway, too. :)
ReplyDeleteAwwwwww! When my family lived in England, my mom, sister, and I went on a long weekend 'lambing' trip to Wales, during which we (and the rest of the tourist group)stayed in a Welsh farmhouse, befriended the sheep dogs, and chased pregnant ewes around fields with the shephard waiting to watch a lamb being born. Oh, and we got to feed the newborn lambs that were staying in the stables. It was so much fun. :D
ReplyDeleteAw, how cute!! And to think people actually eat lamb chops!
ReplyDeleteEva,
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a wonderful weekend trip! I didn't realize you'd ever lived in England.
Very cute! I love sheep! LOL, I love just about every animal. Thats why I'm a vegetarian.
ReplyDeleteLes,
ReplyDeleteI know, it's horrifying to think of those little cuties becoming a meal. I personally eat meat only because I'm not the one cooking. I hate eating animals.
Teddy Rose,
Funny you should say that . . . note my response to Les. My mother used to always describe me as "almost a vegetarian" -- which is ridiculous, of course, because either you are or you aren't. But, I really try to avoid meat as much as possible and it has to be vaguely disguised. The idea that I'm eating something that was alive makes me kind of queasy if I think about it at all.
Sounds like maybe it's the husbands side-kick. I think he should have taken a video of a viking instead though. haha! Especially since I dont' think he brought one home.
ReplyDeleteKris,
ReplyDeleteI asked hubby when he called home and he told me it really was the sheep making that noise. "Randy," he said (the guy he traveled with), "doesn't make that kind of sound." Har. A Viking video would have been great. I'll settle for sheep, though. :)
Those lambs are cute! Thanks to your husband for sharing the little video with you so you could share it with us.
ReplyDeleteAw, they are so cute!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable!! Looks like a beautiful place to visit!
ReplyDeleteWendy,
ReplyDeleteNow, I know how to upload his video of the alligator in Australia! But, curious lambs are a lot more fun. :)
I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Chris,
Aren't they darling?
Stephanie,
Yes, it does look beautiful. But, I guess I'll never see Norway because hubby says it's just too expensive and he doesn't want to go back. He told me he'd rather go to Alaska, again. I thought, "Okay, yeah, as long as you take me." LOL
Yep-we lived in England for seven years, but not all at once. :)
ReplyDeleteCool. Kinda envious, Eva. :)
ReplyDeleteAww... they're adorable!
ReplyDeleteI agree, Nat. I play this video several times per day, right now, just for the smile. :)
ReplyDeleteTrish,
ReplyDeleteI'd go with sheep saying bleeeeeeh over dogs barking, any time. Border collies are cool, though. They do need sheep or something to herd. Humans are probably fine, although not necessarily cooperative. :)
The blehhing of the sheep is indeed better than the dogs (wait, did I also mention the parrots who bark like dogs and sing Old MacDonald??). It is a crazy household! Anyway, posted a picture of Maggie on my blog just because you asked for it. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, that does sound wild. Thanks, I'll dash right over!
