Here's a full view of our tree. The funky 70's-looking thing at the top is really just an ornament; but, I liked it and nobody else cared what ended up as a treetop. The bird ornaments don't show up well, as I expected, but Debi asked to see the whole tree and here 'tis.
I'm going to take a week off from blogging to finish cleaning up and enjoy having the family around. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my wonderful bloggy friends!!!
Merry Christmas to you too Nancy! The tree is gorgeous :) Enjoy your time off!
ReplyDeleteChris,

Nancy - Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Your tree is beautiful! And I'll bet it's even prettier in person when you can see the birdies better. Looks like there's still plenty of candy canes for stealing, too.
ReplyDeleteMay you and your loved ones have a special, fun-filled, relaxing Christmas!
Merry Christmas! The candy canes on your tree are very festive.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, Nancy!

ReplyDeleteMichelle,
ReplyDeleteIsn't that tree-topper the bomb? I got that at Pier 1's after-Xmas sale, last year. In fact, I got a lot of stuff at Pier 1 and most of it's pretty stupid, but it was comfort shopping. :)
Thank you! I've got one tour, tomorrow, then I'm really going to be off. I hope. :) Merry Christmas!
Indigo,
I bought extra candy canes and the kiddo held some in reserve to eat . . . and now they're disappearing off the tree, again. LOL Teenagers are funny!
Thank you! Merry Christmas to you and yours, too!
Veens,
Thank you and Merry Christmas! I just peeked. I'll be over to say thank you, as soon as I'm done commenting. :)
Avagdro,
Thank you! Wishing you happy holidays!
CJ,
ReplyDeleteI think "character" is a good way to put it. ;)
Merry Christmas!! (I won't sing, either)
Lynne,
Thank you! Warm wishes to you and yours for a happy holiday!
Debi,
Thanks and you're welcome! I think it's quite pretty, really, but it's a tad sparse. That's okay -- truly, this is the best we've done in a long, long time and we're all very happy with our little tree.
The candy canes are, however, disappearing.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Kathy,
Thank you! "Festive" is a great word. I like. :) Merry Christmas!
Raidergirl,
ReplyDeleteThank you! Merry Christmas to you and yours! I hope you're not freezing your tail off. It's even cold in Mississippi!!
Maggie,
I love that: "Have a bloggy New Year!" LOL Merry Christmas to you and the rest of the Moran family!!
Chris,
Thank you!! I hope you don't mind if I don't pass that award on because of time constraints (ask anyone who twitters -- it's because I do a lot of tweeting and cleaning, cleaning and tweeting). I wish you and yours a warm and happy holiday!
Jessica,
Thanks! Right back at ya! Actually, I put my husband up for adoption, the other day, and I had three offers. But, I decided maybe I'll keep him for another day or two. :) Merry Christmas!
Cute tree! and birdie.
ReplyDeleteSoftdrink,
ReplyDeleteThank you! Merry Christmas to you and your hamburger and . . . are there any small fries? If so, also to them. :)
Amy,
Merry Christmas!! Yes, definitely, take a few days off. You deserve a break (and it's kind of quiet in Blogville, anyway -- everyone's all busy and festive). :)
