Onward . . . I've been tagged twice for this meme, by Trish at Hey Lady! Whatcha Readin'? and Stephanie at Stephanie's Confessions of a Book-a-holic. Thanks to both!
The Six-Word Memoir
I'm skipping the details that are usually at the top of this meme, simply because you can read them everywhere else. Also, I'm not going to tag anyone, this time, but feel free to tag yourself on my behalf.
Once I started writing down potential 6-word titles, I had trouble stopping. And, here's the funny thing -- most of them had very little to do with me because I was using it as yet another excuse to have fun being silly. Prime examples of how one can have far too much fun coming up with irrelevant 6-word titles:
Tie-Dyed Underwear Frequently Worn Backwards
The Lawyers Are Gone; Who's Next?
The Lizard Whisperer and Other Lies
And, a few titles that might work just fine:
Grandma Got Pancaked; Grandpa Ran Away
How to Wahoo on a Budget
Tree-Hugging Neo-Liberal Book Freak
Frankly, My Dear, You're Losing It
My favorite, though, and the one I'm sticking with:
Book Avalanche Kills Unknown Blogging Personality
It hasn't come true, yet, but it seems likely. Off to take the fish out of the oven. Have a peachy day!
Hungry Bookfool Eats Fish; Stay Tuned (yes, another 6-word title)

LOLOL! Love 'em all.
ReplyDeleteAndi,
ReplyDeleteThanks, babe. I've been thinking of you, this morning -- just finally got around to listening to Evanescence on YouTube and I'm totally blown away. I've listened to My Immortal about 50 times.
Your last title is destined to become a classic :)
ReplyDeleteLOL! Thanks, Iliana. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so damned funny!!! These are all great. I can't wait to share them with my hubby. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are a hoot woman! You crack me up.
ReplyDeleteThey're all very clever! I find mine could change every day, it was hard to pick one. So glad you played along:)
ReplyDeleteYa know, you could be writing some of those humorous books and doing it far better than most of the ones out there.
ReplyDeleteThey're all great, especially the one you're claiming.
cjh
Yes, Mz Bookfool, my dear, you are definitely a hoot! My personal favorite is: Tree-Hugging Neo-Liberal Book Freak. Have you hugged a tree today?
ReplyDeleteWell, no, says I, but I'm sure that's only because it's raining here and the trees are a bit wettish. I did, however, discuss favorite trees with an online friend I met for the first time today. Truly! I've had a favorite tree in every place I've ever lived ... and I can tell you about those trees and what was so special about each one.
Thanks for sharing your favorite six-word memoir with Weekend Wordsmith. I've got you up over there and linked back to this post and all that good stuff:

Les,
ReplyDeleteThanks, babe. I hope R. likes them. :)
Heather,
I live to embed laugh lines in your cheekies. You already knew that, though. :)
Bookbabie,
Thank you. And, you're so right. We change all the time, so our life stories change with us.
CJ,
People used to tell me that all the time, when I had a humor column. My husband says I fear success and that's why I've never put together the book. I think I need a shrink. LOL Thanks for the confidence boost. I'm glad you liked my titles. :)
Bonnie,
We had a mix of sleet and rain. I haven't done any tree-hugging, today. I sort of mentally hug them, anyway. You know, poison ivy and all. I do have favorite trees. Our oak trees are a pain, but they're majestic and I adore them.
Ooh, Nancy. Love 'em love 'em. Although, I have to say, I don't like their most recent album as much as the first. Enjoy! I need to download the first album again. I lost it somewhere in my many travels.
ReplyDeleteAndi,
ReplyDeleteI'm loving their music. I can actually type while it's on. There's almost no music that I can listen to while writing and I hate that, so I've gotta have some.
Oh....that is just too funny!! I love it!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Steph. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lynne. :)
ReplyDeleteYou have the most divine mind. I love reading your posts and seeing the creative, fun things you write. Hope you are enjoying your week off and that the books you're reading are satisfying.
ReplyDeleteThose are all great! So how was the fish? :P
ReplyDeleteBooklogged,
ReplyDeleteWow, that's quite a compliment! Thanks! I'm enjoying my time off; I've finished two books and started a third, but my eyes are tired, today. The cat kept waking me up, last night! Crazy beast. :)
Nat,
It was great; we get stuffed sole from Schwan's (expensive frozen foods trucked to your door), now and then. For some reason, we don't get great fresh seafood, here, in spite of being a mere 3-4 hours away from the Gulf Coast, so we get their Alaskan fish and it's a treat.
"Unknown"?
ReplyDeleteI'd hardly call you an 'unknown' blogging personality. :D
haha! I love them all!
ReplyDeleteHahaha!! Those are awesome! I knew I tagged you for a good reason. :-)
ReplyDeleteKookie,
ReplyDeleteWeeeeeelll. Mostly unknown. How's that? Oh, shucks -- one too many words. LOL
Kris,
Thank you. :)
Trish,
I had way too much fun, once I got going. Can you tell? :) Thanks for tagging me!
