    I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful cat. I lost one of my childhood cats at a very advanced age last summer, and was absolutely devastated. What a wonderful friendship you must have had, though!

    Thanks so much. We had a wonderful friendship. Up until a few days ago, she was still following me into the bedroom when I read in the afternoon. She actually tried, this morning, but only made it halfway down the hall. Hugs to you for the loss of your childhood kitty, too.

    And what a beautiful face it was.

    Cats are an interesting part of our lives, aren't they? They seem so... unsubstantial while they're here. We feed them, pet them, cuddle with them, but they don't seem to take up the space like a dog does.

    Then, they're gone and we're left with a huge hole in the middle of our lives. I absolutely could not believe how much space my cat had actually occupied in my heart and my home. Even though I have a new one, I still miss my little buddy.

    You're in my thoughts.

    I'm so sorry to read this! God bless her beautiful little self. Everyone at our house (furry and otherwise) will say a special prayer for her, and for your family.

    One of our cats died this past April, and though I'm glad she didn't suffer, I still think I see her out of the corner of my eye, coming into the room sometimes ...
