Fiona Friday

If you're owned by felines and you ever get a piece of cardboard that naturally falls into a triangular hut with the help of a little packing tape, I highly recommend adding a couple flaps to make your cats a nice little hiding space. Isabel was hiding in the hut because the sound of my shoes hitting the floor frightened her. When Izzy calmed down and exited, Fiona took her place. We've had this little hut for 2 or 3 years and they still love it. And, it cost nothing! Well, unless you count the cost of the painting that it protected, but that was a good deal, too. :)

  1. One of my cats would love this. The other one not so much. She's strange. Hates tight spaces.

    1. Interesting! I don't think I've ever had a claustrophobic cat but they're just like us, after all.. Both of mine tend to hide a lot - any time the doorbell rings or a stranger enters the house. So, it's good for them to have little hidey holes to retreat to.

  2. Nice! I enjoy how much the cats enjoy our boxes when they arrive.

    1. Yeah, new boxes always must be investigated and tested. So fun.

    1. You know, I hadn't thought about that. Fiona is a cardboard/paper chewer but she's left this little hut and the castle (which is painted, so it would probably be yucky to chew on) alone. Maybe she just likes hiding in it too much to chew on it? Can't say. Cats are weird. LOL
