  3. OH, don't they look like buddies. Esther has a look that she gives Oscar that prevents him from joining her on the bed. I don't quite know what she is saying to him and why he's afraid but it does cause drama in the bed time ritual. Otherwise, they curl up together fine on the same big dogbed in front of the fire! crazy dogs.

    1. They really are sweet together, although they have their spats. I've got a photo of Fiona popping Isabel on the nose when Izzy invaded her territory. It was only because Isabel jumped up behind Fi, though. While I was snapping the pic, I was talking to Fi to calm her and they ended up snuggling that day, too. It's adorable.

So funny about Esther's look. Kiddo discovered that if you lean back and look at the kitties like you're suspicious of them it will spook them. I'm not sure why he did that -- maybe because it's what they sometimes do to him (he's so big and noisy I think he terrifies them a little). I always say my cats never swipe out at people but that was one exception apart from the poor vet, who never gets to see Izzy's good side. :)

Head rubs to Esther and Oscar!

  4. They are so cute sitting there together. David brought his weenie dogs (Trouble and Buddy) into the house when he came to live with us. They are quite a pair. I've never seen two dogs who like each other and don't mind touching so much!

    1. Oh, wow, you have quite a full house with two more dogs! Awesome that they like each other so much. Fiona sometimes gets a little irritated with Isabel because she's clingy and wants Fi to mother her a bit, but most of the time our two get along famously, which is wonderful. Furbabies that get along go a long way toward helping keep the household harmonious.
