In lieu of malarkey, an idea for upcycling ARCs your friends don't want

Monday Malarkey will return either next week or the week after, depending upon time constraints beyond my control.  In the meantime, I thought I'd share a little something that Facebook friends enjoyed. I pass on as many ARCs as possible to other book blogging friends but sometimes nobody wants a book and it ends up in the recycling bin. Recently, it occurred to me that I could save the covers and use the pretty bits to make bookmarks. I'm pleased with the first results:

  1. That's an awesome idea. Love how they turned out. And you're not wasting good art. :) Great post.

    1. Thank you! Yes, saving good art is exactly what I was shooting for. I feel much better about recycling if some part of a book gets to live on.
