Comment FAIL

The image doesn't fit the problem, but I thought it was too cute to pass up. I found it here. I'm having a technical issue. Since I'm more than a little tech-stupid and my son recently told me I need to defrag (I am fragged . . . so sad), I'm hoping I just need to do some tidying in order to solve the problem. In the meantime, I'm unable to comment at a startling number of Blogger blogs -- specifically Blogger, not Wordpress or LiveJournal, etc., near as I can tell. Till I get the problem figured out, my apologies for my inability to comment. Doggone it. I need to communicate. Back soon . . .

  1. It's the open profile template. I can't comment of blogger blogs, because of that template, where you choose from which profile [Blogger, LJ or Wordpress] to comment from and for some reason Mozilla doesn't post my comment. I am furious about it, but no clue on how to fix it.

  2. That comment is hilarious! Tell your son to get you de-fragged right away!

  3. Harry,

I'm not sure I understand that explanation, but thanks for the reassurance that it's just not me. What a pain. I hope someone out there in the tech fix-it world figures out how to get rid of the problem. We need some magic tech fairies, don't we? There's a story idea.

    Kathy,

It's 11:36 and my son is still asleep. Huzzybuns is at a funeral. I think I'm stuck for a while. LOL

  5. Care,

Thanks. So far, the defragging thing didn't work. Apparently, huz has to download another faster, better, curvier, sleeker, more modern contraption to do the job. *raspberries* I'm taking a break from cleaning the closet. You can tell what a fun time we're having! :)

This post is too close to my day job! I love it, though, how foolish we can be as children and adults!

  7. Bellezza,

Too close to teaching b from d? LOL I love it. I'm sure I've said equally ridiculous things, but . . . I sure hope not!

Nancy, you have to see the post that Linda wrote on her kitty, Dixie Rose, here. It made me laugh, and also think of you.

  10. I'd like to say something funny and original but all the springs to mind is snork. If I'd been drinking milk I'd be in a bit of a pickle now.

(Haven't been here for quite some time; I love your banner photo.)

    Snork. :)

  11. Lisa,

Absolutely never drink and snork. Very messy.

Thanks for the laugh and about the banner . . . we got snow!! In Mississippi! Seriously, I am still celebrating. Except, my celebrations are tremendously dull. Cleaning a closet? I need to learn a better way to party.

  12. Do I assume that you cleared your cookies and temp internet files? as well as tried a different browser with same results?

  13. Kris,

I cleared the cookies and temp files but I haven't tried a different browser. Harry said he has the same problem, though, and he uses Firefox -- I use Internet Explorer. I'm going to take off for Christmas break in a couple of days (after the last of my scheduled reviews) so maybe the problem will have been resolved by the time I come back. Fingers crossed.

Thank you for visiting my blog! I use comment moderation because apparently my blog is a spam magnet. Don't worry. If you're not a robot, your comment will eventually show up and I will respond, with a few exceptions. If a comment smacks of advertising, contains a dubious link or is offensive, it will be deleted. I love to hear from real people! I'm a really chatty gal and I love your comments!
