Fiona Friday - Baby it's cold outside

It never fails to warm my heart when I see my kitty girls snuggling. This is their favorite chair and they've been sharing quite a bit, lately. It's been very cold, even in Mississippi! We've got more freezing rain in the forecast, but so far we've been spared the predicted ice storm. Big wahoo for that!! Warm wishes to those in the cold places.

  3. It's freezing here too. I don't blame them for snuggling.

  6. How cute! Amazing how quickly they bond, isn't it?

And btw, have you noticed that our cats are sorta, kinda similar. At least color wise. Max is the same sort of white, with color on his face, and Fi and Maddie are exactly the same...

  7. CJ,

My last two never bonded! I didn't realize our cats' coloring were so similar, but I'm awfully forgetful.

  8. They are so cute! Now I want to listen to the "Baby It's Cold Outside" song. :)

  9. Alyce,

Thanks. I love that song. My dad used to walk around the house singing it on cold days, so it reminds me of him. :)

    Coffee and Book Chick,

Thank you! They really are very sweet together. Isabel still needs to work on learning boundaries (sometimes she'll climb into Fi's bed when there is no room at all and Fi has to give her a nip to let her know she's not going to put up with that) but if there's space for both of them and it's cold, they're happy together. :)

  10. Isn't it nice when the "kids" grow up and finally decide to be friends. ;)

BTW, I love that song, too. I watch the Elf clip whenever I start to think of the song. :)

  11. Les,

It certainly is. I wish my previous two had gotten along so well.

I haven't seen Elf. Probably ought to, someday. My father used to sing that song when it was cold out. :)

  12. Cute! I am not looking forward to it getting any colder because my driveway will be a huge sheet of ice!

  13. Kailana,

Thanks! It's supposed to get cold, again, here but we're at 61 F/17 C, at the moment. Now that's my kind of winter weather. I hope you don't end up with a sheet of ice on your driveway!

  15. Isn't that sweet? Not long after that, they got out the claws but they really do get along more than they fight so I'm happy. I think they're adorable together.
