Raspberries to Bookfool

I've been blog-hopping and I'm noticing some gaps on my list of links. Although I don't expect everyone to come running to my blog to say, "Hey, you missed me!", if you see that I've left you off my links (particularly if your blog happens to be one of those that is linked up to mine), would you please let me know? I don't want to leave anyone out - or miss anything wonderful.

That's my youngest at left, btw. Isn't he handsome? He doesn't like having his picture taken, so I get a lot of photos of his palm.

  1. Your younger boy looks very much like his brother in that picture a few days ago. Does he hate being compared? Mine don't look too much alike, but you can tell they are brothers, and it drives them crazy.

  2. Kookiejar,

My kids don't seem to mind the comparison. They look alike in some ways and very different in others. Will (youngest) says I'm wildly biased, but I think both of my kids are terribly handsome, of course. :)

  5. Bookfool, this is a good reminder for me. I really need to update my links. Cute picture of son. Like you say, he is indeed handsome.

  6. Booklogged,

I'm glad my post served as a reminder, for you! It's always nice to know when I've mentioned something that helps anyone else, even in a small way.

Thanks for the compliment on youngster, also. I think my kids are both handsome, of course; but, even better, they're really nice people and they love books! Is that cool, or what? :)

Your son is so cute! BTW - you didn't miss my pajama party. We're still awake - I made some more guacamole just for you!

I've added you! Love the picture of your son. :)

    Lynne,

Ahh, how sweet! I'll be right over to eat the guacamole. I might even share a little. ;)

  15. I linked "Bookfoolery" to "Bonnie's Books" and "Recent Developments" to "Greening the Blue Planet," calling it "Photos ~ mostly birds" because this blog is read mostly by folks interested in nature. Just wanted to let you know. Thanks for linking me.

  16. Bonnie,

Thanks for linking up to me. :)

  17. Nancy! I just finished my first chunkster of three for the challenge. I read Feast for Crows in 2 days 9thats 630 pages hardcover). It was more than good it was FABULOUS. Anyways, I am not going to write a blog pot on it because it is the 5th in a series and am waiting for the last book to come out so that I can do one mega mega post.

    Is that ok with you?

  18. Nessie,

Of course that's fine! Congrats on finishing your chunkster - and so fast!!!

  19. Hihi...can I have a link, please.

And if you really want to enjoy McCafferey's Crystal Line - start with the first book. I've read the series at least twice and love them! But it's her Dragonriders of Pern series that's a special favourite.

  20. Indigo,

    Thanks, I've added you!

I decided I was so sick of the word "crystal" that I'm not going to attempt to read the others in that series, but you're the third person to mention the Dragonriders series, so I'll look for those. Thanks for your input!!!

  21. I really need to go through mine one of these days. I often add blogs to my Google Reader, but then forget to add them to my blogroll, duh!

  22. Nat,

My problem is that I go blog-hopping and forget how I found a blog in the first place or I'll visit someone who has commented, get tired, shut down for the night and forget all about adding them to my links. I blame it on aging. :)

  26. Kevin,

I just visited your blog and it didn't even occur to me that I didn't have a link. Silly me. :) I'll add you right now. Thanks for the reminder!

Thank you for visiting my blog! I use comment moderation because apparently my blog is a spam magnet. Don't worry.
