Quick note: Wahoos delayed

Because today is a book tour day, I don't want to obscure my post on the tour book. So, the wahoos will be delayed by one day. I'm going to wahoo, though. You can count on it.

For those of us who are becoming blind as bats, sorry about the tiny lettering on that photo. It says, "Wahoos are yummy." Silly kitty. Look in my sidebar to see her looking at me like I'm interrupting the nap time.

Right now, I have to go take my overdue books back to the library. Oops! Naughty, forgetful Bookfool! Come back and Wahoo! with me, tomorrow!

I didn't even notice the words in the photo until you pointed them out. *sigh*
Oh well, at least I'm in good company.

  2. Softdrink,

I probably wouldn't have noticed them if I hadn't written those words. Seriously sucks getting old, if you ask me. :)

  3. Bookfool -

I really like this one (what else is new, right?) because of the cat's tongue. Don't know why but I think it's amazing to see how curled it can get.

  4. That picture is gorgeous. Look at that tongue, wow! Did you take it yourself? Where?

  5. CJ,

Thank you! I've gotten so many photos of animals with tongues hanging out, lately, that I'm thinking there's a photos series in the words. Tongues and growls or something like that. LOL It's pretty wild what cats can do with their tongues, isn't it?

    Jeane,

Thank you! Yes, I did. I took that photo at the zoo on Saturday. Hubby and I have been taking regular "field trips" just to get out and play with the camera. I highly recommend grown-up field trips. I've been so much happier having some fun time. Weekends have been dreary for years -- hubby always wanted to clean on weekends. Blecch. Big improvement. LOL

Here's to more field trips! :)

  7. Les,

Isn't that cool? It's like a talent. "I'm a cat! I can curl my tongue!"

    Hear, hear! :)

That curled cat tongue is......well, the cat's meow.

I had two overdue books to the tune of almost ten bucks this week. Bad girls! I can't remember the last library fine I had to pay.

  11. Carrie,

Yeah, wash time antics. Gotta love 'em.

Yep, bad girls. Ten bucks?? Mine only cost fifty cents. I told the librarian, "That I can handle." She didn't crack a smile, but she never does.

    Nikki,

    Thanks, me too!

    Care,

    Why, thank you, dear. :)

  13. Blonde Duck,

I was meditating upon changing the profile. Perhaps I'll leave it alone for a day or two, then. Thanks. :)

  15. They came out awfully small and yeah, they kind of do fade into the picture.

    Thanks!
